I have been offered a job which is very near to my house and with shorter working hours but $300 lesser than my current pay. My current workplace is very far away & I am tired travelling 2hrs plus everyday. I must say that I have good colleagues & a very caring immediate boss. They have been persuading me to stay on & I know they are very sad for I have been there for almost 20years. Should I accept the new offer or stay on?

Well after spending some time sending resumes and getting no response, I decided to rewrite my resume in order to get more attention. below after my details

graduated from university in february 2007 (CGPA should be lower than 3.0)

got 2 months working part time in a boutique, nothing significant happened, only remember the boutique hit sales target during my tenure there.

university activities is I involved in orientation week as head of clean and clear organizing committee. As program coordinator in a night for a program that selects Mr.university and Miss university.

The problem I have is I don't have the certificate for participation for my school activities, only got a trophy for both events only. Another thing is due to personal problem I fail my final year and I repeat my final year and only managed to finish it recently.

I applied for Job in a good company and I did an interview with them last week. After 4 days I called them back. they told me that the manager did not ask yet. So, wait and let's see by the end of this week. The problem is I don't want to look for other companies and spend money that I might need it if they called me and started with them. Also, I don't feel comfortable for looking other companies because the company I applied in is a very good one.
The other thing is that, my friends think I'm spending my time or I'm lazy that also makes some pressure on me.

Hint: A friend of mine who had applied in the same company before me has been recruited, they called him like after 10 days.

New boss has excluded me from what would typically be my duties. I am not included in meetings or changes to products that I typically manage. I am a 50 year old female and fear that I am going to be let go. I have been with the company for more than 6 years with excellent performance reviews.

Currently the job I have lined up for myself is an interpreter... I have a knack for learning languages, but it's hard for me to understand how other people have troubles learning languages, which sounds a bit lame, but I guess it's hard for me to walk in those shoes when they're not available to be walked in.

I guess I'm just worried the job itself won't be too exciting or anything, because it might be too easy. And an easy job, well I guess that's hard to come by, it just sounds weird to me. "Hey, do you want to make a job out of one of your natural talents? You won't even have to work that hard." Maybe it's one of those "Too good to be true" instances, and my mind can't comprehend such a situation.

Hi there, I'm an undergraduate college student; and I'm applying to a graduate program. They ask me about my employment history on the application. Quite frankly, I will have to list "none" ; because I have not worked anywhere off campus. I have worked at various "jobs" offered on campus such as: "food service, computer service, tutoring center". But I'm not sure if I can list them as "real jobs" in the application package or on my resume.
Any suggestions will be great helps
thanks a bunch
