All jobs require a Social Security number. (all legal ones, anyway) Working without a number can get you and the employer in a heap of trouble.
If you are a legal immigrant and have been authorized to work by the Dept of Homeland Security, you can get a Social Security number and work legally.

Illegal ones.
Any and all jobs require a valid social security number, no exceptions. If you get a job without a ss number, you & the employer are breaking the law and stealing from taxpayers.
