I heard that it can be helpful to network with other people when you are on a job hunt. Are there any network groups online? Thanks!

I will be 13 in a week, I can't ask my parents because my dad already got me an expensive Cape Cod bracelet and my mom did her birthday shopping for me already. We notified my neighbors that I could babysit but they haven't asked me and we told them quite some time ago. I am selling something on my town website but I don't know if people will buy it (a FLY through spanish thing for 15$). I am returning some things I don't need. My mom will not pay me to do odd jobs around the house and since it's winter I can't mow the lawn or anything. I have 80$ right now but I need another 70 to get the iPod. Once I return those things I will have $122 but I still need to get to $150. We are waiting to get credit back from something I bought so that will add 25 dollars but until then how can I (I am 13) make money really really fast?

I saw and ad in the paper that was for a vehicle shuttler, meaning that you drive vehicles to and from different locations. However, there was no company name listed. Does anyone know about this kind of business and who you can contact to become a shuttler?

I see that the problem seems to stem primarily from one particular individual. She is a poor worker, she lies constantly, and goes over my head with complaints about me. I just don’t know what to do with her! I am tired of crapy book advice that says to “coach her” and “find out how to motivate her”. She doesn’t want to change. Period. Worse, there is nothing in my HR manual that I can use to deal with her. There is nothing about dealing with lying and trouble making of that sort. When I try to correct her, she calls corporate heads and tells them lies, (which they seem to ignore). She is a cancer to the division's moral. Has anyone else delt with something like this?

What do you think would be the funnest job, and why?

or do you have the funnest job?

my guess would be acting in films or doing set decorating or some aspect of the making movies process. OR being a travel journalist where you can travel the world and get paid for it!

I need the job quickly, very very quickly

I work for a startup of 15 people. 4 of us travel almost 100%. 1 of us travels 25%. 3/4 the people who travel 100% have corporate cards. I travel 100% and DO NOT have one. The person that travels 25% also has no corporate card.

My employer is very slow in reimbursing me for company expenses (food, hotel, flight, car etc). The debt usually accumilates to 3000-4000 $ before I get reimbursed. I dont like the idea of using my personal card for company expenses as on a long term its not right (I've been doing it for > 1 year now). I am expected to travel thru 2007 at a minimum.

My boss (& founder) says its "too much work" for him to get me a new card is is not even willing to give me a cash advance. I am very frustrated due to this. I think its unfair I travel 100%, am a regular employee and dont have a card while another employee does have it.

The guy does not even return my phone calls when I call to enquire about my reimbursement.

Other than quit, how else can I handle this?
