I have been working for the last 3 years. i am studying the aat and have passed one of my aat intermediate exams. i told my boss that i had passed one of my exams and he said well done,congratulations. in the afternoon my boss started picking on me.he was telling me that i was making mistakes with my work and finding faults in my work. a few weeks later my boss called me in to his office and he said that i had a disciplinary hearing even though i thought my work was ok. why is he doing this for?

It 's a said situation and is common in every job.Remember this when you talked about your promotion or progress-what happened.You experienced that.Is?'t it!Therefore bullying at work is common.I define any jobs as follows.
"First you are hired then tired
then mired and finally fired."

Either you don't realize that you are doing something wrong, or your boss could just be a jack@$$ and he has something against you. I thought my bus driver had something against me for a long time. She seemed to always keep the Mexican kids on the bus and talk to them for no reason. Sadly, lots of people are like that, and I have to admit I am a jerk sometimes too, but not racist.

I would talk to your boss about what you're experiencing regarding his behavior towards you. If you can't resolve it, then take it to his boss or HR.
