I am currently off on the sick at the moment with taking anxiety attacks and stress, i work for the council as a care & support worker i have been doing this now for 2 years.
Its not the clients the reason why i am off work its due to the poor management of the place, ive had enough.
I want to look for another job, just working in retail, but i am very worried that i will not get a good reference from my previous employer im sure this will go against me as i have been off for 6weeks. Plus if i do find a job will i have to give my work 4 weeks notice as usual?
I can't go back to my work as its seriously effecting my health.
What should i do? serious answers only please.
Thanks in advance

I love making powerpoints. They say if you do something you love and make it your job you'll never work a day in your life. Is there something waiting for me?

Do you think she will pay me 17.50, that is the going rate for my field with a degree. Is that asking too much? What do you think she will say if I ask for more than double the income because of the degree.

We are Filipino-Japanese descendants living in Japan. Four of my children are girls with age 21-27 and our son is 18. He is fluent in Japanese having studied here in senior high. The girls are working for Sony Corp.'s digital cam and celfone assembly line. Three of them are line supervisors. They have very good working attitude. All of them are holder of long-term residence visas.

We also want to know if companies can sponsor our children for them to get visa. If this is possible, do you know of any company doing this?

Please help us migrate to the US.

I'm thinking about applying for a teaching job at the HS I went to. The person who'll most likely interview me was my AP Calc teacher, and I kept in touch with him a few times too since then. It all started out with me just e-mailing him asking if they may have any math teaching positions available. He literally said it's possible but that I should e-mail him back a resume first. When time comes to interview with him, is it ok to talk the same way like I would with friends but also being a little more serious and/or formal? I know it's usually a bad idea to bring up question about pay and benefits. Still a bad idea to ask that even when you and the interviewer know each other decently?

Okay it looks good on the resume but how much more of a chance does someone have at getting a job after college if they're in the military than someone without military experience? And what about being an officer, does that further increase one's chances?

What do you do for a living? Do you enjoy it? How did you get into it and what are the requirments to qualify for the job? The upsides? The down sides? I'm trying to figure out what I'd enjoy for a living and wondering if someone out there has answered this question.

I am a secretary working in an office. My employer wants to move me to another office where you can not open a window (for fresh air), without heating (the least problem), lower ceiling and it is bit dark from the building opposite. Could you please advice me how to convince him reasonably that I do not want to move because I am worried for my health. Thanks in advance!
