Parents of children under the age of 6 or disabled children under 18 have the right to ask their employer to allow them to work more flexible hours.

The request must be made in writing and the employer must consider the request seriously.

Your employer can only refuse the request if there are clear business grounds to do so.

Hope this helps

You knew you were having a baby and so did your employers. You have, no doubt, taken the statutory time off and this might be coming to an end.
You will have a Contract of Empoyment-check it first.

When you left work, I presume you did not indicate whether or not you would be returning and therefore, your employer was not sure either.
It may be the case that someone is doing your job on a temporary basis and when you return he/she will revert to normal duties.
As a Manager, you have responsibility over and above the staff you control and the empolyer should be contacted with the question but you might find, in time, that you want to go full time again so tell the boss that and the answer to your question might have a better outcome.
Good Luck!

That is something only your employer can tell you. You might go into a meeting with them prepared with reasons why you think that arrangement might work out.
