The problem with finding legit data entry work-at-home jobs, are that
most of the material appearing on the web are scams: people who
advertise that they have the "secret", only you have to send some
dollars, and get a brochure/e-book with the guide on finding an
e-data-entry job. Their secret? Sell booklets/e-books about how to
find an e-data-entry job. Classic pyramid scam!
There is a website that post daily telecommute jobs. The jobs where you must send them a resume and interview for them.
Many of them are sales or web programming jobs, but there are some for data entry and clerical type work.
The link is in the source.

There are a few companies that hire customer service reps to handle inbound/outbound calls from home. Typically no fees are required for these jobs, but some do require you to pay for your own background/credit check.
