A trainee in south-west of England gets between £15,000 and £18,000 while training, rising to £30,000 / £34,000 depending on employer.
Beyond that, the sky's the limit, particularly in the Corporate Law area. London salaries are a lot higher, obviously.

Average about £30,000 a year and when you become an Associate to that firm or a Partner then you get more.
