I went for an interview for a job I'm really interested in. Now I'm not worried that I won't get employed, but of how the company's name is not very impressive and serious. It has a name that sounds frivolous but I can see that it is a decent runnign business.

Would the name of the company reflect badly on my choice of job for future employers, because that's all they'll see on my resume?

Thanks!

with only 2 weeks vacation OR work every other weekend, holidays, afternoon/midnights? Money would probably be the same. Position would be manager vs floor nurse. Frankly, am burned out of health care but at my age it's too late to change. Would like to be retired in 3 - 5 years. Also, management job would be 45 min commute one way versus 30 minute commute. Serious answers only please!!!

are people who do mystery shopper reports always legitimate because I just had a really bad one off two people that where being really rude and aggressive and goading the staff to a point where other customers were complaining, unfortunatly some of the other customers offered to leave their names and address but I did not bother because I did not think that they could have been anything but just exceptionaly rude an aggressive people ( I was nothing but polite to them), it has now come back to bite me on the bum and my boss is going mad and wants to take it further even though I have a clean track record for twelve years, They where really rude and shouted at all the staff and upset every one in the room, I am not to bothered for myself but the other staff are as they all went out of there way to try to make things good for them ( also they are young and have been very upset by the whole thing) any advice would help, thanks

I was just offered a job as a receptionist at a brand new doctor's office. I'm going to take the job, but I'm nervous because I have no experience with office work (lot's of customer service!). I will kind of be the doc's "jack of all trades" as his only employee at first. Does anyone have any advice about getting organized from the beginning?

At first, when I started college which was last year, I wanted to become a doctor, than I noticed it takes a lot of years and patience so I chose another major. And than, I wanted to become a nurse but I realize that when your a nurse, you work all day and sometimes night, it's a stressful job.

So, this year, I was going for becoming a dentist. But than, today, I'm asking myself "Do I really want a job where I'm looking at people's mouth all day?"

I don't know what I want to do with my life? My dream job is me educated, relaxed and helping people. Do you guys have a website that has major and their salary?

I work part-time in my university's library. On the weekend, there are no senior employees working in the library. We're usually very quiet on the weekend and often only have a handful of customers all afternoon.

Today, a man came into the library. He was a recent immigrant from a Middle Eastern country, and I would say he was about thirty years older than me. He came to the desk and started asking me questions about how the library was run. I tried to be polite but told him that I couldn't give out that information; he would have to come back on a business day and talk to a supervisor.

Then, he started asking me for directions to many places all over the campus. I gave him a map, drew some paths and acted like I was busy. The man left.

About an hour later, the man came back. He showed me his library card and asked me which days I worked in the library. I made up some fake information, and he told me, "See? We were destined to meet..."

A group of high school girls were in my store, one of 'em lost her phone and because another customer assumed I took it because I cleaned the table and told my boss, and after that happened everything was fine until I went to work today and he fired me! What can I do! There are no cameras and when I went to work today he just told me that I wasnt needed anymore, and the lost phone was the reason!

In becoming a tattoo artist, how do you make money? Do you get directly paid to for the tattoo you give and then you just pay rent to the store you are using? do you have to pay for your materials as well? Does the amount of money you make enough? Also, can someone refuse payment if they don't like the tattoo you have given? Can they sue you as well? haha i'm just trying to see if being a tattoo artist is what i really want. I'm really interested in the carreer and i just want to make sure it's what i want to do. Hopefully you can help me?
