are people who do mystery shopper reports always legitimate because I just had a really bad one off two people that where being really rude and aggressive and goading the staff to a point where other customers were complaining, unfortunatly some of the other customers offered to leave their names and address but I did not bother because I did not think that they could have been anything but just exceptionaly rude an aggressive people ( I was nothing but polite to them), it has now come back to bite me on the bum and my boss is going mad and wants to take it further even though I have a clean track record for twelve years, They where really rude and shouted at all the staff and upset every one in the room, I am not to bothered for myself but the other staff are as they all went out of there way to try to make things good for them ( also they are young and have been very upset by the whole thing) any advice would help, thanks

That does not sound like a typical mystery shopper that I have ever heard of. Most would simply go to the business they are checking on, act as if they were any normal customer, maybe ask for something unusual or difficult, but not make a big scene about it. That is totally unprofessional on their part. The whole idea is to keep your identity a SECRET.

Good Luck, once those jerks send your name in to corporate, your pretty much history. I would talk to the Human Relations dept.,(Corporate Level) not only you, but take at least three witness's with you, that can describe what happened. This is the only way for you to save your job, the four of you have to persuade Human Resources(Corporate Level) that these people were totally out of line and treated all of you with a terrible lack of respect, yet you remained courtesy and held your temper. You have to turn the page on these two so that who ever hired them will terminate them. I'm not kidding take as many witness's as you can. Your Manager cannot do anything once the word has came down from the top. Explain to Human Resources(Corporate Level) that you had tryed to explain what happened to your Manager, but feel that someone in Corporate needed to know just how bad that these two people disrupted the store. Good Luck Most mystery shoppers are not of this type character.

I would find out if the mystery shoppers were assigned to act up to assess how a negative situation is delt with. If this wasn't the case, I would put in a formal written complaint about the mystery shoppers. If you have security camera's in your building, you could possibly ask your boss to have a look at the tapes too. Hope this helps.

I don't have a clue as to what you are talking about. I don't know who is doing what to who and why and how it all fits together or what the question really is, sorry.
