It depends on how your company's vacation policy is written. If you accrue a certain amount of vacation time each month, you would be entitled to the amount you have earned but not taken. If the policy gives you your entire year's allotment of vacation time on your anniversary date, you are not entitled to any of it if you are let go before that date.
