I worked hard at my job for six years. I spent a lot of extra time and money helping them out, which I didn't need to do, but did because I wanted to put out the best possible product. The hard work (by others as well) usually went un-noticed. Last week I was let go because the company "decided to go in another direction." Yesterday, I found out I've been nominated for a prestigious award through a provincial body for my work with the company.
I'm still very angry at all this, for putting in the extra work and for being let go. I need to find a way to get over it. Any tips?
