I'm thinking of enrolling on a proofreading/copy-editing course through one of the big companies such as Chapterhouse. I already work in Publications, and I think it would be useful to my career.

However, does having a qualification from one of these companies really help with your career prospects? Will it help to get a relevant job when I decide to move on from my current position?

I am very worried about my future, because I don't know yet what I want to do for a living when the time comes to decide; for the university.
I'm not so good in Math, Chemistry, and Physics.
I'm more the "Literature" person. I'm good in learning languages, and I do well in Biology. I'm also very creative; I like to do creative things...

Now, I hope I made it easier for you to answer my questions-:

What do you think would be best for me to become???

How did you decide what to do for a living?

What do you regret about your choice, and what mistake/s have you done?

What can I do to make the best choice?

Thank you very much for taking your time to read this far, and I would really appreciate and take your answers into consideration.
(Don't try too hard to answer my question, just write what came to your mind while you read the text above, and be as honest as possible.)

This really means a lot to me!

Thank you very much in advance!

I've been working as a Business Analyst for the past 6 years. I'm curious to understand what the contracting market is like right now.

I'm genuinely curious as to how many of you are at work right now answering questions about Britney or Football instead of typing up that document for the multi-million pound takeover.

How do i make my job site different from others out there? Is there something that you people miss when using a job site? What things you would like to have in a jobsite to make it more useful to you. What kind of searches would you like to perform for the results that you seek? Any specific regions that you think need a good job advertising board desperately? I am planning to provide generally free or for a priveleged service a very low cost alternative.

I worked for a big organisation and one of the conditions given for payment of gratuity was that I obtain at least three subjects in the Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) under CII in UK. I did completed my term of the contract but did not have the 3 subjects and have not been paid my gratuity. What should I do? From Zambia.

Does anybody know of any social networking sites or genuine jobsites (not the data entry type of jobs) for stay at home moms/working from home

Basically women who take a break after having baby may take the decisiont to stay back but do face identity crisis- they want to work not for the money alone (in which case data entry type of jobs will also do)but for personal satisfation. Are there any jobs which can utilise the skills of these women or suitable for anybody working from home?

I had two warning from work because of silly mistackes and now i am on my last warning. I could loose everything i had worked for and now I am preplex in what I should do. I love my job and i cant just walk away. The mistakes were from other staff and i felt i had to cover for them as I felt i should have followered up on it myself to ensure that there is no error. I am finding it hard on what i should do...just move to other job or wait for another stuff up?
