An implantologist is a dentist with a DOCTOR OF DENTAL SURGERY or DOCTOR OF MEDICAL DENTISTRY degree. It's a dentist who is either placing or restoring dental implants. The median salary is around $125,000 a yr depending on where you live. There is no such thing as an implantologist per say (sp). It's just a dentist specializing in implants. Just to give you an idea of what the salary implies. My friend the dentist can comfortably afford a Porsche Boxter. He can afford a 911 but it's a little bit above his comfort zone.
