I live in Winchester and I'm in yr 9. I really want to be a vet because I love animals but I'm not sure on where to go after I'm done with secondary school. I know Sparsholt is an option because It has animal studies but I don't know if that's the place I need to go to be a vet.

I'm a new graduate and is currently looking for a job that would train me. I found a really good mentorship program but they are really strict too with very high standards. after a lot of thinking and asking for advice, I decided not to go for this job offer/training and would rather go with another company that would still give me good training but also give me a place for adjustment and time to breathe? how will i decline the first offer in a nice way since they are quite a big company?

I recently graduated (BComm in Accounting), and I am unable to find a job with a CA firm, because my GPA is not over 3.0 (just 2.91). I see that only CAs can make big money in the accounting world, because they can audit things and do SOX compliance.

Right now, I am an accounting clerk, and I do not know how to get a good accounting job and get an entry level SOX compliance training job. Anyone can help me! How to network with people.

CGA and CMA are below CA???? That's what i heard from peers, is this true.

I am wondering what you think about chiropractic. Is it a good field to get into? How much NET profit do you believe chiropractors make? Do you think that other career fields such as dentistry and medicine offer greater opportunities? Do you believe that chiropractic is respected? Do you spend more money per year going to a medical doctor, dentist, or chiropractic?

I have an offer for a job 1 hr 45 mins away from home, working in a new industry with a group of people I have a great relationship with. I have another job offer, from my previous job (45 mins away), they are requesting I return after 9 months, great salary, 18K more than I do now. But I recently started looking again, actually just a few days ago. I wanted to find something a bit closer to home for the same salary/benefits. What would you do?

I have been at my job for 3 years. First the owners found about some wrong doing from the self-proclaimed office manager, one of the owners talked to me about that the position of office manager, threatened to take work away from her . This owner would call me on the phone for about two weeks to tell me that 'this would be they day' that she would fired. Everyday I went into work walking on eggshells waiting for them to fire her and it never happened. She found out that I was in a meeting with all of owners and became very rude to me and given me the cold shoulder and called be names. Well everything cooled down for about a year. Again a year later, the same owner spoke to me about becoming office manager and asked me for a written plan. I gave him the plan and at this time he told me that they were thinking of hiring an office manager, because if this co-worker of mine were to report to me, she would quit. Well recently, they announced that she is office manager and my boss.

I have an opportunity to join a new company at a new position within that company (i.e. job description and salary have not been defined). I am led to believe that salary is potentially several times higher than what I make now (same job, different company)... someone else who turned down the job was told to "name his price". How do I approach this without lowballing and shooting myself in the foot?

Due to my partners circumstances he cannot work away from home during the spring.
We are looking for something he can do from home, either on the internet or otherwise, where he can earn a little extra cash.
He really needs it to be quite flexible, eg no set hours, something he can do in his own time, and for there to be no start up fee as we already have very little money.
He is highly skilled in the knowledge of animals, Birds of prey especially. I was wondering if there is anything he can do writing for a falconry or wildlife magazine.
He is quite computer litterate, although not an expert by any means, can use programs such a word and dream weaver and can learn how to use many other programs.
We are going to look at selling a few of our things to get us out of this tight spot and we would be looking at something as a back up too.
