Just wait it out for now and don't contact them for another week. You don't want to seem too anxious. At this point, you've done the thank-you letter and follow-up call which is good, but they could still be interviewing. Sometimes when a position comes up, especially at a new company, they could be interviewing for several weeks and you could have been towards the beginning. You can try calling HR again, I would just give it some time. Good luck!!

That is the 50K $ question. It really stinks to be hanging. I've been there. Call the HR dept again. Although it may produce no results. Because you do not know what's going on behind the scenes. I found out once after waiting 2 mos that the company hired someone else first who ultimately declined after not getting what she wanted. I was the second choice. The only reason I found out was because a co-worker told me. Another time, I waited forever b/c there had been a death in the dept so the hiring went on hold. Could be internal candidates, budgets or any number of snaffoos.
The waiting is never easy, yet know ultimately you'll be where you're supposed to be.
Good Luck

Sometimes it takes several weeks for a company to make a hiring decision. Be patient....but keep looking in the meantime.

Do nothing for a couple of weeks, then send another follow-up. Hopefully they'll have the courtesy of telling you that a decision has not been made or that they've selected someone else.

Good Luck!

It is much too late for you to start making other competition look like bad prospects or encourage them to look elsewhere. That sad story delivery won't play now. You aren't even sleeping with anyone in HR, are you? Didn't think so. You lack creative ideas. You are all about following the form. Isn't playing well, is it? I'm the one who will be ahead of you.

Just move on... ... If they want you, they will call. In your case, either they take a long time to make up their mine or they have someone else in mind. Just move forward on your job search.
Good Luck.
