Tell them you can lift 200 lbs. straight up over your head. Just kidding. When and if they ask you that , think about your skills. Are you a good team player? Do you pay attention to detail? Are you a fast learner? Do you take initiative? Those sorts of thing are "strenghts" Good luck with you interview.

Its a polite way of asking how you can add value to the company.

If its a small company you would be dynamic, team player, self-starter and iniative taker. If its a large company you would be a team player but more focused on how you apply yourself and take your job seriously and the effort you putting into doing a job well done.

Its often a question of how much homework you have done about the job you are applying for and how you would answer this questions. If you can explain why they should choose you then you did your homework, if you just rattle off what everyone else says then your just another warm body applying for the job.

I work for an employment agency and can describe to you what it means when we ask.... we want to know what areas you feel you are strong. You can say, I am good with people, you could say, I am wonderful on the phones and love to multi-task. You need to figure out your strong point, like personality, computer skills or multi tasking.... I hope this helps, it would have been easier to answer this question if I knew what type of position you were interviewing for. Good luck, I hope you get it.

For example, I am very organized. I have created and maintained numerous Microsoft Access databases to organize business files and contacts.
