I work in a state employment office, and routinely help people write resumes. Your state should have an employment website, that you can register with. A lot of states are coming on line with a system called Job Link. If your state has this system it will print out a resume for you. All you have to do is fill in the blanks and it puts it in the right order. Then, the best thing is to copy/paste into a Word document, make any page (widow/orphan) corrections, and print/save/whatever from there. One other thing I usually suggest to my clients is to email their resume to themselves. Yahoo will let you email something back to yourself, then just put it in a folder on the side, and you'll have it wherever you have internet access. This cuts down on the problems associated with disks and jump drives.
Holler if I can be of further assistance.
