I was curious to know if either site has provided helpful advice or networking opportunities for job seekers. Or are they just more people looking for jobs? Anyone have a success story with them?

I am from Wisconsin and I currently work full time at a firm that I have been at for 5 months. If I get a second part-time job and in the future I am laid off from my full-time job, can I still collect unemployment if I am working part time?

i am a highschool junior and am thinking about majoring in engineering. I am not real good in math ( pre-calc) or Chem this year. I am going to a harder school this year than before. The average SAT score is 1200. It is one of the best schools in indiana ( West Lafayette JR/SR high) . I was wondering if i would have a chance in the engineering courses and if i should go to a school that is known for engineering like purdue or go to a less known engineering school like indiana or wisconsin. Thanks for your opinions. If anybody is an enginner could you please explain your avg work day

I joined this company about a year back. The work explained to me looked so promising. But then, 6 months down the road, I was not doing what I had been promised of. I feel really misreable doing tons of paperwork.

I am more of a hands-on type of person, so I woould really like the nature of my job to change. Plus, my boss has a terrible temper, and any chances of talking to her on my job change seems doomed.

People keep telling me that I should tell her, I have and she promised me that I would get some help (an assistant) sometime soon, but it dosent look like its going to happen. I am so upset, and angry with myself.

I do not know where my careers heading too. The reason I do not want to leave, is because I love this company too much. I am also worried that if I ask for a department transfer, there would be a backlash from my current boss.

Is there anyway that I have a right to ask for this change? I want to be happy at what I do, and not be bullied at work.

I just recently became certified. And I'm not sure where to actually look for a pharmacy technician job. I've already applied for Walgreens and CVS. But I want to apply to as many jobs as possible to guarantee a job.

Their are three careers I am looking into right now:

-Owning my own daycare
-Becoming a Kindergarten teacher
-Becoming a zookeeper

Right now I work at a preschool as a teachers aid and also at a daycare center, so I have a lot of experience with young children and enjoy working with children however I have also always wanted to work with animals, and in the future, don't want to regret never getting a degree to enable me to work with animals. What are some advantages and disadvantages with each career?

I was terminated from my job. I must fix this because I can no longer work for the govt. It was over 2.5 years ago this happened. However it was not fair. Many other people were also terminated from this company at this place. If we communicate I can provide more detailed information. So if you decide to take the time to answer this please be prepared to spend some time on the pc to communicate the best answer. I would prefer not to hear things like time of limitations, there is no limit to wrong doing. If you disagree please dont tell me. But if you have been in my position and you feel strongly please send me some advice. I thank you kindly for your time. Respectfully, Eddie

It has been a little over a week and I am still awaiting a call to know if I have been hired or if the position has already been "filled". I have a 7 year plan & im only 13.

Just next year. [ 8th grade - BIG YEAR ] I will be volunteering at the zoo. From there on, when I become 14 which will be Oct. 21st. of next year, I will be volunteering at the Akron Hospital. Not long after I start at the zoo. When I enter high school I have it pre-planned that I will be starting my animal management classes ( 9th grade ). From there.. after I turn 15 I plan to be working 2 jobs. One is already for sure. I know the boss, I GOT THE JOB ALREADY!!.. and the other is a a reastraunt. Nothing big, but at 15 years old. It works. From their Im set. 2 jobs, classes, career, 2 volenteering programs. So my question is. Do you have any tips of where I should go from their, ect. and is anyone else insterested in animals and forensics anthropology as a career? Thanks.

Deanna.
