You would probably start out close to minimum wage and increase according to your skill, your employer's generosity, and you company's profitability. Unless you become an executive secretary, your wage would probably not exceed $5- $6 over minimum wage.

If you plan to become an executive secretary, you will need to improve your spelling. I would suggest that you go to college and aim a little higher in the job market.

Secretary... and if you want to be one, invest in a good spell checker...:) Actually, they don't get paid that much on average and they often do an incedible amount of the work. The pay would be better in private industry in a highly successful business, and even better if you get promoted to "Administrative Assistant". It often takes as long to train for that as it does for other, much higher paying, lines of work. Perhaps you might want to check into all your choices.

It would all depend on where you live and the word is secretary.
The range would be between $7 to $10 in my area.
It also depends on your responsibilites too.

well I am a Secretary and I get paid 8.00 an hr. work at a car dealer,.Depends on where you work at.Like if you work for a lawyer I am sure it would be more.
