Im thinking of quiting my job because I cant stand it anymore, My Manager know about this already but she couldnt solves my problem between me and her. She likes to gossip about me to others co-worker, yes its weird, but that what happened. I am thinking before i resign, i want to talk to the Human Resources about her behavior, or do u have any other suggestion so I can tell the truth coz i have the list....its so frustrating like this, Shes really think that I m her biggest threat, she is a bad news and my mind cant deal with it anymore, help....

It seems every office I have worked in I have had trouble with the women there. I'm married and my husband does pretty well so they comment about my clothes, my car, my handbags, and they make comments about me not having to work. Frankly I'm sick of it as I work to pay for the things I have and my large student loan. I eventually end up leaving most jobs because of the cattyness.

In the 70's and 80's, I saw signs everywhere advertising Mother's Hours employment. Now, that I am a Mother and am limited to those hours. There doesn't seem to be any available anymore. Not all Mother's are able to work full-time do to situations out of their control. But, still need to bring some kind of income in.

I plan to quit work at the end of March. I get paid for 20 days off + 3 at Xmas (Jan-Dec).

How will my last payroll be calculated with regards to my paid days off?

If I have 20 days off now does that mean I'll get paid less? If I don't have any days off then that does that mean I'll get paid more?

I am in the higher end of management in a specialized field and for family reasons need to relocate and find a new job. Eventhough I only put my home and cell numbers on my resume, I am finding people calling my work. How they had to research to get the number and leaving messages on my work voicemail can compromise my current job (which I obviously cannot afford to loose before finding a new one). How can I feel secure about sending out resumes while expecting professional practices and confidentiality to be respected?

Hi im a 17 year old student from germany i have no idea what i could do after i will finsh my school in summer 2007 but as a alternative i would like to work in england for a year or a half but im a little concernd if i could get a job may be( mc donalds , or work in a supermarket) i also have relatives in in south england they would support me. This applies to the UK only, and I'm thinking of the new anti-age discrimination laws we have here. I work in IT and I don't want prospective employers ruling me out immediately because I am too "old" - so is it Ok to not mention age/date of birth when applying for jobs? And what if they specifically ask?

I have 2 customers from the same household that ordered goods payed 2 payments then stopped.I have now been told by the catalogue because they haven't responded to their letters that i will have to pay as they haven't payed enough for them to be taken off of my account.

i am seriously thinking about moving to the usa to work. i have read that for me to apply for an immirigrantion visa i would need to have a job in america. i am just wondering if anyone knows a company or a website that takes on or sponsors someone looking to work in the usa from another country. i work in finance and have an aat level 2 and 3 in accountancy qualification. i would not know what the equlvate would be. i live in the uk and have no criminal record. if you can help it would be much appreciated.
