1. Work and evaluate your performance and performance track records relative to your peers, without this, you can't justify why you should get a promotion.
2. Check out similar positions in other companies, e.g. how long it took to get promoted, etc. for high-flyers like you. This is to show that you have done your homework.
3. Write down a list of accomplishments that meet the criteria for promotion, if any, and preferably you should also express them in monetary terms. I hope you have achieved a lot in the work place so that you can stack a number/value to your performance. After all, if you didn't help the company make more money/save money, why should they promote you.

KEEP YOUR MIND OPEN, TO LEARN NEW TECHNIQUES AND SKILLS, not only on the issue of YOUR PROMOTION.
You will get your PROMOTION, sooner or later, ONCE you establish/prove your worth to a company you are working for.

DEDICATION, HONESTY, FULL DEVOTION WILL HELP YOU TO GET PROMOTION. HOWEVER WHILE DOING YOUR DUTY, ALWAYS KEEP YOUR MIND OPEN TO LEARN NEW THINGS AROUND YOU , BUT REMEMBER DO NOT WORK WITH YOUR MIND ON PROMOTION ONLY. ALSO TRY TO SUGGEST NEW IDEAS TO MANAGEMENT, AND BE PROMPT IN YOUR WORK.
