It's a cliche but...find something you enjoy and you'll do better at that than something you can't stand but pays well. In general the jobs at the very bottoms of companies and the very tops of companies are the same - if you want to get to the top of one (and it sounds like you're an ambitious soul so I'm guessing yes) choose an industry where you think you can do best on the path upwards.
