I want to do mediation, but I have no law degree. I have a bachelor of science degree in something unrelated (computer science). I live in New York City. I want to know if I need a law degree or can I just take a certification class, pass a test, and be able to be hired as a mediator. As for what kind of mediation, I am figuring, for civil court cases, or something. Also, does anyone know where I can find out more information on this job and what it takes to be hired?

I am 21 years old, and I work as a receptionist. I did very good in high school, but I dropped out of college after a couple semesters. I feel like I am stuck at a dead end job. I have no room for advancement. I would like to go back to school, but I am limited to night classes since I work 8-5 Monday-Friday. Also, Tuesday and Thursday evenings are unavailable. Does anyone have suggestions? I have considered Dental, Massage Therapy, Medical billing. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Time after time, many Transsexuals find extreme difficulty in finding suitable work for their skills. Large parts of Society, many employers and most work colleagues treat us like some kind of sad perverts. Yet many of us are highly experienced and skilled people in our particular field of expertise.

We are no different to anybody else in society and it's about time others accepted and recognised that in the same way the Government have.

Most interviewers ask this question but I think it's a hard thing to come up with sometimes. What do or would you say when they ask "TELL ME WHY YOU THINK I SHOULD HIRE YOU?"

So this lady offered me this job processing requests for info that are sent to my email address. For every order I process I get $25. It doesnt sound too good to be true cuz I can potentially only make about $200 - $750 a week but there is a small fee of $10 for training materials. I would think this is fraudulant but who would only take $10 from someone? Is this for real or am I being scammed?

Be Specific Please

The question was "here's an ink pen, sell it to me" and you're suppose to go into a big sales pitch. The job didn't call for sales so I was thrown a little.

I graduate this May from college and want to get a summer job before I have to enter the "real world" (as my grandparents would put it). I would love to get a random, fun job somewhere. In my past summers, I have work at an inner-city camp I found on the internet in Connecticut, work at McDonald's on a beach in New Hampshire, and spent a summer traveling in China. Do you have any ideas what I could do for this coming summer?

Thanks!

I had received an e-mail from Green Solutions, Inc. telling me about a position as a financial agent.

It is a work-at-home position and all communication will be online. There is a trial period of one month, where the new agent is paid $1500 a month plus an eight percent commission. Internet access and a bank account are required. apparently, the job entails receiving funds from stockbrokers and other clients, and channeling the funds to the client specified in the contract.

Do any of you have any experience working in this type of job? If so, what were your experiences? (You do not have to reveal the names of clients.)

I work for a large union contractor(boilermakers, pipefitters, laborers, millwrights, ironworkers, teamsters, etc.). These people seem to think they deserve the world on a silver platter because they are union. Unions were first enacted to improve hellish working conditions, I would say that in the U.S.A. today conditions are no where close to where they were in the late 1800's early 1900's.

Geese, I mean you pay 50k for education, and even if you get a good job, you are in dept from student loans until you are like fifty!!!

My husband got fired from his job of 7 years two weeks ago.
It was his fault, they made him work 16 hours strait and he was tired so he didn't do proper preformance on his patrol (Security)
We went on vacation, and when he came back his account manager said not to go to work and come to her office the next day to find out why.
They had reviewed tapes and he didn't do anything for the last 8hrs of his shift because he was tired.
The reson the reviewd tapes was because something happen the week he was gone, and they did everone, and fired a couple of people and wrote up the rest for job preformance.
My question is now he is reapplying and he doesnt know what to but for reason leaving.. I know fired is bad is there a word you can use to work around being fire.

I have the knowledge and the degrees, but very low academic scores. I also failed a year. What should I say if they ask why did I get low grades in exams? I am stressed.

However, I have a sound knowledge, but low grades are worrying me.

I know in life grades don't matter and it's the knowledge that matters, but what if they ask me about my low grades?

Hiya,
I'm an Italian girl and I'm moving to England in a couple of months.
I have an italian degree but no work experience.
Do you suggest I start with temp work or apply for permanent positions straight away?
I've heard there are pros and cons for both and I really don't know where to start.
All I know is that I want to pursue a career in Marketing. I've already applied for a CIM part time course and, in the meantime, I basically just need a job to pay for my rent and bills (Admin work maybe?).

Let me know what you think!

Thanks
