My route is one of the last ones to be machined and when I have express mail, i need to leave without casing it...hopefully there are some post office gurus in here.

You've asked a whole ball of questions here. Do you have an LLV, are you a regular, why are you being mandated to take your DPS to the street, why are you getting your DPS late, are you deviating to make the express on time?
While I am a rural guru, your question is far too complex to answer easily. What I would suggest is that you subscribe be sending an email to:

This is an established list that has been growing since 1994. You can find out all kinds of answers from this list which is open to rural carriers only.
