Just wondering.... to see if I should re-do my resume. And my interview has nothing to do with the temp job...

My interview is at a dentist office for customer service... and my temp job was in the mall selling puzzles.

I got a job in a well known company and at first i was really looking foward to it as i was bored in the house but i got really fed up quite quickly the way things were with certain people who worked there. The main thing that i had been looking foward to was getting to know people, customers AND staff...but it seems even having a 2 min converstation with another member of staff(asking how new year had gone for them)was frowned upon. It was quiet and it wasnt a big long converstion. In my opinion the atmosphere in the shop could be quite nerve racking when she was around. I realise she was in charge etc and she has a job to do but for gods sake she should lighten up. In the end i couldnt look foward to work and i had to make myself go. Luckily i didnt need it for the money but i know some people rely on it and have to take the crap thats thrown at them. Work should be a good fun place to work as well. This is my 2nd rant of the week. Im doing well!! LOL

I have worked in the front of house, ie bar manager, restuarant manager etc for 15 years now and I really need to change! Only I have no idea where my skills are best fitted and everytime I use an agency then they just put me forward for more of the same roles, or, rather helpfully say they cant help at all! ANY advice would be appriciated as I am sooo reay to move on!

My company is going through a transition period where serious delays and problems are occurring for our customers. I am not able to provide answers to our customers and am becoming increasingly stressed. Me and my co-workers attitudes have been plummeting drastically. Are there any excercises or ideas to create a more positive attitude at work? All of us are continually berating the company and each other and no one is taking responsibility even for their own work. We are refusing to help each other on menial tasks. It is becoming dreadful to come into work everyday and I would love to try to find ways to increase morale so we stop chewing the company and each other down.

I have been employed with the same company for 2 1/2 years. I have a one week paid vacation avaliable to me. I work in home health care and the home I work in decided to switch companies. My company understands the home is close to my home so I won't be staying with them. I have to give a 30 day notice in order to use my vacation days. I didn't have that notice about the company change. My employers says to bad you can't take your vacation and we do not have to pay you for it. Is this legal? I've earned it if they don't pay me , then who gets that money? My compamy gets their money from the state. What should I do?

I had finished B.Sc. Electronic media. I know Digital Film making, Photography, Video and Audio Editing, Audio mixing, Compositing etc., I would like to start an advertising company to do ad films, corporate films, documentaries, music videos, Ad/modelling/industrial/nature photography, Edtiting etc., I want to know what are all the things that i should keep in mind before starting. HOW TO GET CONTACTS?. Should i need to work in a ad company before starting my own ad company? Please guide me... Is this a risky business? HOW SHOULD I INVEST MONEY SAFELY. I CANT FACE LOSS... I AM NOT HAVING A STRONG ECONOMICAL BACK GROUND. I am from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Or is it better to work in any media like TV channels/ad film company instead of doing business?
