I am currently a college student. I am soon going to a temp agency for work. However I was wondering if there are any work-at-home job opportunities available for me. Some entry level work that is not a scam or whatever. Currently the most I have planned is to set up a site where I do art commissions/ sales.

I ask this, seeing a large increase in them while the job market becomes tighter and tighter. However when we send our kids to these fairs, are they just candy coated versions of the job market. Brought to you by (fill in company name here) or are there some guidelines for such events to follow.

Many of the jobs I've looked at require only a High School Diploma. For example I currently work in Law Enforcement, and High School was the highest necessary education qualification.

I'd rather put my college degree to work somewhere, preferably somewhere with a higher pay grade.

Philosophy and Theology are both intense and difficult fields of study, and helped make me much sharper, with more attention to detail and precision in all my words and thought.

I'd think any employer would value these qualities, but more pertinently, is there work I can do with a BA in Philosophy and Theology, besides going on to the graduate level?

I really don't have the money for more school right now.

I am living in Taipei, Taiwan, where I have been for 3 years. I want to come home to the United States (Rhode Island) and wonder if it is possible to find work before arriving (This is the most important/pressing concern) So my question is - how do I get a job before coming home? Also, are there support services - information for ex-pats who are returning home after a long absence? Thank you all.

I was a barmaid, and complained to my employers that a man was continually grabbing my bottom and my breasts while I tried to do my job. Nothing was done, and I was told that I had to continue to serve him. My partner had a polite word with the gentleman a few days later, when it became apparent that the customer was not going to stop. I was then chastised by my employer for 'having my boyfriend come to work with me'. I was told that its my responsibility to deal with gropey perverts, but was not allowed to be rude, bar them or retaliate in any way. This took place yesterday. Today I was fired because being 'an attractive woman with large breasts would always attract that sort of attention, and they can't wrap me in cotton wool'. They fired me because they think I'm too soft and can't take men looking at me and making rude comments. The leers and the pervy remarks I can take, its the grabbing and touching that I don't think I have to put up with. Any thoughts?

I have been offered a live in position in a hotel in the UK (I'm from Italy). It sounds good at first because I don't have to wonder about finding a place to stay. But I'm just thinking of what kind of accommodation I could get.Are they reliable?Do you think I'm at least supposed to be given a room of my own?I don't ask for a luxury place but just for something acceptable.
