I would seek a job that entails translating. This job once you get in will be a very good job. It will be a good source of income for you. Look through all the Sunday papers under the heading of Jobs. It will give you a list of different categories relating to specific jobs. This one may be under the category of teaching. Also I would look into finding a job with the county or state you live in. This may be helpful for you to get a job with them as they have excellent benefits, it would be helpful also for people who know the languages you speak.

Don't give up on study. Make sure you consider all your options. I failed a few times, but ended up with a post graduate degree. Learning is not always a smooth ride and neither is being young. We all make mistakes and it is how you deal with them that matters. Running away will not solve the problem and you very well may regret it. But, when you are ready there are lots of opportunities to work around the world. The better educated or trained you are the better these opportunities will be, for example... working for a non profit; teaching english; the military; working for business; the foreign service. In the meantime you may also qualify for a working holiday visa to australia so that is worth looking into for when you finish college. Good luck, be strong and positive. It will be ok and you will get to do everything you want to if you work hard and follow through on the things you started - the best advice I was ever given. EDIT I am sorry if you feel I was preaching when I and, I am sure, everyone else here was trying to give you good helpful advice. I am qualified to tell you that there are very few places that will issue you with a visa, let alone a work visa if you have pending criminal action or sentencing. You can rule out NZ, Australia, the USA, Japan and Israel for a start. You may also be at risk of being faced with additional charges for absconding as you leave, upon return or as part of possible extradition action in another country. I have no idea what criminal action is been taken against you. But what you should be aware of is that the court does take your character, past and present, into account. If you can demonstrate that this was a mistake for which you take responsibility and that you are recommitted to your future they are likely to go easier on you. What you can also guarantee is that if you stay angry and resentful or do something foolish, like try to leave the country, you are asking for them to see you in the worst light. Just because there is no place to hide from your problem does not mean it is the end of the world. A good friend of mine committed a dreadful mistake when he was young, paid a very heavy price, and is twenty years later a successful married businessman with kids.
