You can say that you left your previous employment as there was no opportunity for professional development and growth.
If I knew why you quit, I could help you more.

Could have tried to help you a little better if you had actually said why you lost or quit your last job.
Assuming that it wasn't a bad deal to begin with be blunt and completely honest.
Assuming you got a raw deal or got fired for a reason of your own, I still maintain that you be "as honest as possible". Try your hardest not to lie about it at all. Just practice it out before you go in, because one stutter or stumble and your going to probably be pegged.
If you got fired, explain that you were given a leave of abscence and explain why. If you missed a lot of work due to illness, or were in the middle of an emotional time, explain that those times are over. If they are in fact not over, cancel the interview, your clearly not ready to go back anyways.

Reasons for quitting a job, without looking bad: 1. Looking for advancement. 2. Lack of good benefits. 3. Need a job that will pay more money. 4. Poor working conditions. 5. Hours not suitable to your home life. A couple of these together are good reasons. Don't bring it up unless asked.

Never never slag off your previous employer. This has happened to me recently and I simply told my new employer that I realised that I was wrong for the environment and whilst I did my best to give it a go, I realised that it was of no use to continue and felt that it was only right to tender my resignation.
You may need to elaborate a little more and you can always say things like, I have never worked in that trade/environment before and found that it wasn't for me.
It happens to the best of us that we find ourselves disastorously in the wrong job and employers expect to come across this from time to time so don't dwell on this too much.
Stay positive, perhaps even use the experience to illustrate why you think you would be so much better suited to this job.
Good luck tomorrow
I got my job...I hope you get yours

first of all its best to be honest , don't even put lying on ur mind because if u get the job he / she will eventually find out. if u want to explain why u quited u first job u can simply say '' the job i was previously in i wasn't able to exercise my skills properly , thus i had to quit to find a job that i will be able to execute my skill to the best of my ability'' or . BUT SERIOUSLY U SHOULD HAVE POSTED WHY U QUIT UR LAST JOB , because i could have given u advice according to the purpose why u quited but i don't know why u quit so.......... for now this is the best advice i can think of

Don't bring it up unless they do. However, if they do ask the only way to answer the question is with HONESTY. Even if you bend the truth to make it sound good and they found out otherwise....you will no longer an option for the job position.

a more likely question for them to ask is why do you want to work with us?
focus more on telling them why you want to work for the new company!!! if you have not done research i recommend it.
if brought up tell them you can tell them that you are looking for more professional and personal growth oppotunities. here are a few more you can thrown in there, better benefits, better hours, better pay. be as honest as possible without digging yourself in a hole.
don't knock the old job at all!! d
i recommend you google interview tips

Be honest even if it is bad. People are people-don't you think the interviewer wants an honest person at their company? Also, I wouldn't try to church it up. Making excuses isn't good either.

Tell them it was not a healthy environment to work. Complain about people treating you bad.
