i signed up with the Job Centre last year and have found it hard to get a job and they sent me on a training course. This course effects me mentally in the head so do you think i will be able to opt out of this and claim Incompacity. Below is things which can stop me from working. Its not that i dont want to work but "Cant"

Memory Loss
Mental Problems
Depression Problems
Confinence Problems
Pain to my Diformed ear/Scars
Pain to my head and irritation due to my scars

theres alot of other things aswell which can make me unfit to work. If your from the UK then you may know about this answer.

I get disability allowance also for my ear but because this place they sent me , New Deal it was a place for helping disabled people and helping them get work. I did not think they would send me out of town baring in mind im deaf in one ear.

Maybe i should take this up with Citizens Advice also ?

I have been offered a job as trader with one of the firm in Manhattan, The job is Prop Trader Equity. I am 24 years old and have a masters degree in engineering. I can find a job in the market paying me 60,000 minimum in NY.

Is Trader such a high flying job. Could some one throw some light for me.

Being a trader they dont pay me anything unless I make commision and for the first six months 2000 dollars will be paid which will be deductible of future commisions.

Is it worth a shot Any comments will be a great help

I'm graduating from college next month and I have two job offers.

Job 1 pays $67,000 per year and it's work I really enjoy doing and I will be good at it.

Job 2 pays $103,000 per year but the work doesn't excite me and it's not a perfect match for my skills so I'll probably only be average at it.

Which one should I take. It would help if you told me your age.

I have Been in the Trucking Industry for 28 years. I am ticket and accident free and have approximately 2 1/2 million miles. I have been licensed in the States of Texas and Colorado as a Class A CDL Instructor and have taught driving skills and safety in both states. I would like to get out of the driving side of the Industry, and share some of the knowledge I have gained over the years, As I throughly enjoyed teaching.
Would appreciate any advice on how I might do this.
Thanks,

Four years ago i completed a film and media degree and thus far have been pretty unsucessful with finding any work. And when i do the employers seem to offer something in the region of £12,000 a year. Which i personally find insulting! I have also had to work in the construction industry where the pay relates to the workload and your qualifications. After a 3 year degree i expect a minimum of £18,000. And im kind of past hearing 'you have to start from the bottom'. With the amount of graduates with media degrees now is it possible to the money will drop further. For every 100 graduates there must be one job, or maybe its worse than that!

i worked for ppo network lab. as a phlebotomist for about a month. i started realising that the company wasen't following osha regulations plus paying under the table, so i quit. i tried talking to the owner about these issues, but nothing came about. 3 days later, the lab was shut down and filed bk7. they still owe me 2 weeks pay. when i called various people to get info., i just got the run around. what can i do? these funds are really needed right now.

I'm going to be 16 soon and need a part time job as my dad has bought me up giving me very little money to spend as he feels this will make me more independant. I really need to start paying for my own stuff now because my parents refuse to buy me clothes and lunch once I'm old enough to earn decent money. The problem is, I need a job which fits around all the things I do.
I'll be in college next year and I will be doing dance all day saturday and sunday, plus drama Tuesday and Friday.
I've always wanted to work in TGI's part time but do you think they will be able to let me work around my schedual? What other jobs would I be able to get?
