I work at CVS in the pharmacy and I am only 16. I was hired by the pharmacist there who is my mom's friend's sister. My mom has tried to call her and tell her that I want to quit but she is always saying that I should quit. I don't know if I should tell her on the phone or in person and I am also scared to tell her.

I run a small boutique store. Whenever a customer leaves the store I ask to go through any bags or purses he or she is carrying. I say it is 'to make sure they aren't stealing anything'. I've been told by the customers this is bad for business but I see that it is imperative. Who is right?

I'm currently working on a masters degree that should help me in my profession in the long run. I'm also currently looking for work. Do you think telling employers about the degree (that I'm still working on) will help me or hurt me? Should I wait to tell them until I'm hired?

My concern is that employers will think my attention will be divided between working for them and studying.

The masters program is self paced, therefore it shouldn't interfere with work. I've taken 2 classes so far and have 10 more to go.

as a sales man and assistant manager. he started off as just sales and then they moved him up to assistant manager. He makes 55,000 yearly all commission which is good money but the hours aren't. He works usually 12-9 which is opposite of my 8-5. He needs to make atleast that salary(maybe 50,000 at the least) but wants to work a 8-5 job so we can spend more time together. Does anyone have any reccomendations? He has no degree but he does have 3.5 years of assistant manager. thanks

I'm trying to get out of Stop & Shop Grocery Meat Department, as I'm getting sick and my hands have random red target lesions (Erythema Multiformis) on them from being allergic to something. I've been looking everywhere, but I don't see anyone hiring. I've checked Craig's List, Monster.com, and all the other job search functions. Anyone know anyone in the Boston area who needs someone for computer work? I'd rather do computer work considering I'm going to college for Multimedia.
