Here's an online job idea:
Join both http://www.treasuretrooper.com/137569 and http://www.*************/index.php?ref=57691 to earn money online. Both sites require no upfront costs, and are legit. I've received many checks from them before. You earn money by filling out surveys, and joining trials such as Netflix Get a few friends to join up as your referrals and earn 20% of whatever they earn, plus $1 bonus on CashCrate. I've made as much as $75 a day! Here is some proof of members earnings on TreasureTrooper: http://forum.treasuretrooper.com/index.php?showtopic=17509&st=570 Try it out.

Also she can try babysitting or depending on her exact age she can work in a favorite store.

The best thing to maybe start with is getting into your own business.
If you are just a teenager it is a good idea to see the opportunities available to you before you experience the 40/40/40 scenario of the life that most people get into.Which If I can just say is NOT your only option. the 40 rule means work 40 hours a week for 40 years and get 40% of your earning to retire off of..............

Seasonal jobs at resorts and places that offer services seasonally.
Work at a daycare centre. They usually need extra help Dur=ring the summer months.
Market your skills and or services to people in the area. The elderly are a good example. They often require help with daily routines such as shopping/companionship/cleaning the house/cooking/

You could offer skills and service like baby sitting or being a mothers helper.

Offer people in the community to cut their lawn or take their pets for a walk.........etc.......this way you set your price......If you do not get much business then you can change it to suit the needs of your potential clients.......On line surveys are a possibility but are not a guarantee or a sure fire thing. You wait for them to have a survey....
You can also tree plant i the summer or find a job for the summer on a farm..........help is always needed.....................
Your government agencies should also have youth employment programs so check those out.......The possibilities are unlimited.Just depend how much you wan to to make and what you are willing to do for it........Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Serving in a busy restaurant is always good. The hourly pay stinks but if the place is busy, and she can keep up she can make very good tips. Grocery stores usually have a good hourly rate as well and often are looking for part time employees. Have her stay away from the fast food places.

You may also look out for an option to work online to make extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit

I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)

There are alot of legal restrictions to hiring teens and they vary from state to state. The best source for information will be the high school counselor's office who can help with getting a work permit and have job leads of local employers that are actively looking for teens to work after school and on weekends. It sure saves alot of running around from place to place filling out applications.
