He was driving a commercial truck (non-cdl) for the last month illegally! Needless to say I take this very seriously. Is this grounds for dismissal? Also take into consideration that his primary job is to make deliveries.

I read in another person's answer that it's no good to work in retail boutiques folding clothes because it provides little experience.

So what kind of other jobs can a late teen do and at the same time, what kind of fields don't mind hiring a teen and teaching one along the way?

(I'm 18 and going to college this fall, so I'm eager to get some experience and earn a bit of spending money.)

I just got a job and I was so happy at first. But for a while doesn't seem like normal to me. I feel like I don't exist and he normally talks to the older workers. He didn't tell me what to do. What am suppose to do. I keep asking him before I need to keep busy, but yet after a while i found out his avoiding me. Maybe his annoyed or something. I wanna keep my job but I don't know what to do. I am afraid that I will get fired.

Right now in Georgia the temperature is fairly warm (high 60's to low 70's). It's warm enough to wear shorts and eat ice cream. My friend's uncle owns an ice cream truck and he allowed my friend and I to drive it around and sell ice cream. We drove to random places. I think we were on the road for about 7 and a half hours or so. After all that was said and done, we came home with a total of $378.00! Yes, all that money for only 7 and a half hours of work. After seeing how much money could be made, I seriously thought about doing this full-time. Would this be a wise career move? Or should I just stay in school?

I am 37yrs old and I still live in my parents basement. I have been tryin to get a job at the lock SUPER WAL MART for 7yrs. Every time i apply and tell them I want to be a pharmacist they toss my application out. Why won't they fess up and acknowledge that their pharmacists are walmart employees just like the guys who scrape the gum off the parking lot ? I have waited 7 yrs to be a wal mart pharmacist and they just dont want to give me a chance. I told the manager in the interview that i already bought my own white coat, so if that was an issue....they need not worry because I am prepared mentally as well as psychologically and psychosocially. Who do i need to tell about wal mart descriminating against me ? please help !

The guy who worked before me had a specific job to do today and he barely put a dent in it. The next shift(which is me) usually picks up the slack from his shift. He didn't even try to do it at all though really. I know his day wasn't very eventful judging by the schedule. Should I leave it for him to do tommorow seeing as how he is wrong for this or should I do his work and mine? I don't wanna make anyone too upset. I don't wanna go to the boss with it either.
What would you do?
