I just got a job and I was so happy at first. But for a while doesn't seem like normal to me. I feel like I don't exist and he normally talks to the older workers. He didn't tell me what to do. What am suppose to do. I keep asking him before I need to keep busy, but yet after a while i found out his avoiding me. Maybe his annoyed or something. I wanna keep my job but I don't know what to do. I am afraid that I will get fired.

I have not been provided a job description, or been given an initial overview to give basic direction of my office interactions such as hiarchy, work flow, training opportunities, or even a walk-through explaining everyone else's positions and how we interact. I work in IT, as a hardware technician.

OK, and I'm being serious, not trying to be the Y!A spelling police or anything, but....did you read your own question and details? The grammar and spelling is terrible in it and maybe he sees that and that's why he doesn't give you a lot of work. It's a possibility.

Sometimes this happens in the workplace, a supervisor takes a desliking to you and they WILL find a reason to fire you. I mean it happens. The best thing to do is keep a diary, possibly join a union, and then approach the subject when you have a bit of evidence with either him, or who he reports to.

He is more uncomfortable around you than you are him. He feels he has nothing in common with you. Listen to his discussions and see if you can find a subject that you are familiar with. Try to start a discussion on that topic and try to make him comfortable. He has been poorly trained but you shouldn't have to worry about that. This will work out fine if you are patient and understanding.

I think you should follow your letter of employment and read clearly what is the nature of your job. This should help instead of asking your supervisor what are you suppose to do.
