thre are tons of grants out there that she should apply for or at least check and see if she qualifies, it never hurts to apply for more than one at a time this way it can give you more options

Look up government sites in the US..The Government will give grants to business woman to get started. There is a special grant just for woman.

Check with the local community college or the Economic Development Commission in your town. Sometimes they will help small businesses get started.

she could look for government grants. since she is a female, she is eligible for more grants...even better if she is a minority...other than that, keep in mind most businesses are started with loans and make no money the first few years.

start smaller as a home catering business. it gets the name out and after some time she can grow into a location and then offer seating and a menu for walk in customers.

well, what kind of restaurant? how big of a building. your best bet is to find a small place like an old shop out of bussiness...or btter yet, build your own small place, whatever you do, dont rent if possible...it is cheaper and easier to buy.

she could start low, maybe start as a waitress and work her way up, earing money and talking to possible costumers in the future

Maybe she should try to get somebody to invest in it, or become partners,someone who has money.
