I have seen that in the long run, people related in the field of trade, Finance and charted accountants draw more salary.
A combo of Engineering in a top class institute and MBA frm a good b-school can also allow u earn big money.
Those bold people whos step up into entrepreneurship and start up own businesses with creative ideas also tend to make more money

It is not which job gives you more salary. It is you who have to excel in something that people come to you and give you what YOU demand. There is no connection with any particular field. You can create even a NEW field. We have just to look up to Mother Nature, and then go ahead full steam.
But the best thing I ever read about being rich, is-'That man is the richest whose pleasures are the cheapest'

Instead of looking for a job which pays more, do some introspection in you and fish out the thing which brings immense satisfaction to you.
That shows you are strong in that field. Like say playing musical instrument or singing or artist or say a guy who has a feel of doing some thing manually like carpenter or wire man etc.,
When you take up a line which brings you happiness then automatically it drives you mad to strive for more and more and one day you will find earning lots of money and equal amount of satisfaction and happiness too!
Now a days, a hair stylist who enjoys his job, earns more money in a day than a full fledged Engineer!
So, look for an answer from your heart!

why salary? Heck it's the bonuses that really count...
I wouldn't mind working for only $100K a year and get $1M in a yearly bonus....also it wouldn't hurt to also get the nice shares...
Who cares about salary? That's not how rich people are rich...at least not the 500 wealthiest individuals in the US
