Are you looking for what job titles you should be applying for in the classifieds?
Here is what I looked at 20+ years ago with my freshly minted BS in marketing. Customer Service, Business Manager, Business Analyst.
Basically anything with the key words; business, manager, marketing, analyst.
Being careful to avoid specifics like; systems analyst, operations manager and such that I was completely unqualified for.
I started with a very small company as a marketing manager, then moved to a bigger company as customer service rep, next job was a market analyst, then a business manager. Then I retired to a life of leisure at 35 - lol, after I got an MBA in finance at 29. I plan to resume working full time after we complete my husband's next job transfer and interstate move.
I recommend working in customer service in the beginning. It teaches you what all managers really need to know, that the customer is Why you are in business. And you develop empathy that will serve you well throughout your career.
Best of luck!
