Don't ask them for any further advice because if they have no intention of hiring you, they will not stay and "chit-chat" with you either.

If the interview is too short, it may probably be because they think you're not suitable for that job. BUT. You have nothing to lose, so you can start asking some questions yourself. You can either be straight and ask them "Am I or am I not suitable for this position?" or, you can insist (if you really want it) and start asking questions about the position/company etc.
Here are some examples of questions you can ask:

But if you see they are reluctant, it means you shouldn't waste more time.
Good luck!

If it's a job interview, and it's too short, it's probably because you are not going to get the job. Asking him for more isn't going to help in that case. But, you could ask for advice on what to do differently in your next interview. They may or may not give it though.

Tell him not to be so impatient. Make him sit in a corner till he learns to behave. Ask him if the reason why he wants you to leave is because he has ants in his pants. If he says he has another interview scheduled right after yours, find out if that's just an excuse. Ask him to show proof, or to show you the next interviewee. Tell him you will leave if he pays you $5. The $5 is earnest money, to guarantee that you get the job.
