Right now in Georgia the temperature is fairly warm (high 60's to low 70's). It's warm enough to wear shorts and eat ice cream. My friend's uncle owns an ice cream truck and he allowed my friend and I to drive it around and sell ice cream. We drove to random places. I think we were on the road for about 7 and a half hours or so. After all that was said and done, we came home with a total of $378.00! Yes, all that money for only 7 and a half hours of work. After seeing how much money could be made, I seriously thought about doing this full-time. Would this be a wise career move? Or should I just stay in school?

I love it when the ice cream man comes around.
He should come more often. You can stay in school and do it in the evening when most parents are home from work and can give the kids some change and they'll come-a-runnin! Just go slow because sometimes we hear the music, run and get the change and by the time we get out there, he's already past. BUMMER. This is great for weekends, evening, any time of year! Also drive by public parks. That's always a good money maker.

But dang, I hate shelling out a buck an ice-cream.

ALWAYS keep 50.cent options. Not all of us can afford to get a buck or two ice pop for a few kids........

I'm guessing that $378.00 was the total sales. How much did the ice cream cost? Gas? Insurance? Doesn't sound real lucrative.

Okay. Questioning Girl-If you're fat, you're where it's at. If you're thin, you're in. So, it doesn't matter how you look.
Asker-- That's a nice career choice but like I would just list pros and cons of that job and other jobs so I would wate and think about it and I would finish school first because you might be able to get a higher paying job.

Um no, sorry, because a lot of people in the neighborhood think of the ice cream man as the big weird loser.

AND, you'll get fat on all of that ice cream. Who wants to be fat? Then you're not IN.

well, if u like ice-cream a lot, then no need to ask, open it~

passion brings u success...

sometimes try to learn from life, not only at school, coz life it too short, u should taste all feelings by yourself, just like ice-creams...
