It really depends on the job type that you want. Can you post some of what you are looking for? It will go a long way in helping others to direct you.

Short answers are Monster.com and checking out the call centers in town. If you want a job to help pay the bills, most of them are always hiring, just stay away from telemarket places, it will give you ulcers.

Your question doesn't offer any specifics so let me offer some general advice: ) Most states/major cities have career centers (they were once called unemployment offices). Use your computer to find out where the nearest one is located. You will find very valuable information (all free) on multiple job postings, job fairs, career counseling, workshops on resume writing, interview techniques, free computer training and computer labs, etc. Of course, you also have to ask yourself if there is any reason why an employer wouldn't want to hire you and figure out some strategies. Do you have a spotty work history, have you been fired or have a criminal background. Honesty is the best policy, generally speaking. What's your knoledge base of the position your applying for; brush up on skills if you are able and research (via computer) the company that your ineterested in working. What is your appearance like? Make sure no matter what position your applying for that you are neatly dressed and groomed. Always follow up an interview with a hand written than you note to the person or persons who interviewed you, thankin them for their time and reiterate your interest in employment with them. As you know, the job market is extremely competitive and you have to consider looking for a job as a full-time endeavor which will hopefullr pay off so you can pay your bills and be part of something. Good luck!

First of all, work on your resume and make it an excellent one to get job, which suits your interest. You should take the help of consultant to make an attractive resume. Then You should submit your resume to leading jobsite like www.monster.com, www.careerbuilder.com. Also you should consult local placement consultant in your area. In the meantime, look out for an option to work online. Although it wont pay you like full time job but you can make extra cash in your spare time. Check out my blog. There's a list of websites that are 100% free that you can join to make some money online, as well as some tips on how to make money. I made over $200 using a few of the websites in December. But your earning potential could be much more. All the websites listed are 100% free and scam-free. They are all legit, and I have been paid by them.

http://www.swatcash.com/2147 < Using that website I have made almost $100 in under a week. It's a really great website, and also free to use.

If you're not getting any calls you might want to consider revamping your resume.
