Me & My family wants to work & stay in Canada. What are req'ts. & process in the application for migration?

Do we need the consulting agencies in applying for migration or just directly apply in your embassy? Im a registered architect and my wife is a Branch General Account Bookkeeper in a reputable bank. Do we have a chance? Can we easily get a job there?
