I have Been in the Trucking Industry for 28 years. I am ticket and accident free and have approximately 2 1/2 million miles. I have been licensed in the States of Texas and Colorado as a Class A CDL Instructor and have taught driving skills and safety in both states. I would like to get out of the driving side of the Industry, and share some of the knowledge I have gained over the years, As I throughly enjoyed teaching.
Would appreciate any advice on how I might do this.
Thanks,
Little Tree

I don't know anything about trucking, but I do know something about risk. You might try working for an insurance company that insures trucking companies rather than working for a trucking company directly. An insurance company is always looking for ways to reduce their exposure to risk. If you could convince an insurance company that by consulting with their insureds, claims would be reduced, I bet you could create the kind of job you want.

good luck
