To get a really good job, you need to attend a local community college and learn a good job skill such as welding, or computer aided drafting or computer troubleshooting. You don't even have to graduate, you just need a certificate that shows you completed the appropriate courses. Heres the good news: good welders make $23 and up. Computer drafting technicians make $14 an hour with benefits to start and $29 to $49 an hour after 2 years. Computer troubleshooters make $35,000 per year to start. There are shortages of skilled workers in all 3 of these fields. Another thing you can do is go to America's Job Bank at www.ajb.dni.us, register, log on, create a profile, create a resume', search for jobs by zip code or within so many miles of a zip code.
