i signed up with the Job Centre last year and have found it hard to get a job and they sent me on a training course. This course effects me mentally in the head so do you think i will be able to opt out of this and claim Incompacity. Below is things which can stop me from working. Its not that i dont want to work but "Cant"

Memory Loss
Mental Problems
Depression Problems
Confinence Problems
Pain to my Diformed ear/Scars
Pain to my head and irritation due to my scars

theres alot of other things aswell which can make me unfit to work. If your from the UK then you may know about this answer.

I get disability allowance also for my ear but because this place they sent me , New Deal it was a place for helping disabled people and helping them get work. I did not think they would send me out of town baring in mind im deaf in one ear.

Maybe i should take this up with Citizens Advice also ?

When i tried to get a sick note before being signed off sick my Doctor refused. I have big trouble explaining myself to other people and get mixed up very easy. Mostly everything i say dont make sense or is mixed or jittered up.

Its diferent online because i have things which can help me with spelling and things to help the disabled.

Its not because of my confidence. i have been depressed since i was 14 and i have many other problems as i have stated saying why i cant work.

A) being deaf in right ear makes me not hear properly. To be honest i think my hearing is getting worse.

B) Depression problems. I always get depressed

C) Always got pain to my head and my ear.

D) Always got trouble explaining myself. Mainly everthing i say does not make sense.

And since i was mown down by a car 7 years ago. I have not made a re-claim for DLA. Maybe its also the time to get a reclaims pack ?

ill definatly go to CAB but god knows what the Job Center will say if i do opt out of the training.

Obviously my moneys will stop and ill have to try and get some other benefit to live on.

Also i know when you get a claims pack for Incompacity you have to get a Income Support Pack aswell as they compare both of them but i dont know if the Income Support is more than the Incompacity Benefit.

If i did get Icome Support maybe the goverment will make me work anyway ?

These people are trying to get you back into work, just because you get DLA dosen't mean the state and all working people should have to support you for the rest of you're life.

Maybe you should ask them to help you with you're spelling, then maybe you'll get a job and your self confidence will go right up.

Good luck.

We have a list in this Country of Muslim Clerics who have lapped up millions in benefit hand outs while living in the UK. They hate everything about us, but are so grateful for the idiots that we are by allowing them the sanctuary in our Country. His preaching to a young audience of his message should not be ignored. His followers have boasted of fighting jihad abroad, while others were convicted of terrorism here. To my way of thinking, this Preacher should be arrested and brought before a Court, for nothing less than incitement. Why oh why, do we have to put up with these horrible people ?

You can get your doctor to refer you to the hospital for your deafness problem. You can get very good hearing aids(almost invisible) free on the NHS. To qualify for incapacity Benefit, You will have to make an application through the Job Centre and wait for an examination by a doctor who works for the Government to make a descision whether or not you qualify for incapacity benefit .

If you get incapacity benefit you may get help with rent or council tax.If on income support you do get help .but it depends if you have any saving or not. they can not take your disability allowance in consideration when working out your income. On incapacity benefit they can not send you for work but they can send you for a medical.these medicals are hard.IF you do go or have to fill forms in think of your very worst day and describe this to them. good luck hope this helps.

it is very hard to claim IB, you need medical evidence,if you go on the sick first for a few weeks and keep handing sick notes in then they send you for a medical.there b@stards there
you have to be practically dying before they accept you

but like its already been said go to CAB they can help you there very good

Yes it,s not a matter of opting out, mental illness is a sickness if your doctor will not help you go to the citizens advice and they will more than help you.Good luck and don,t take no for an answer.

Change your doctor, he sounds like a waste of time. Then you might get somewhere with your recovery and sick note in the meantime. Get your GP to refer you to a specialist shrink.

Put it this way. If you look anything like your avatar I'd seriously consider think of claiming more than Incapacity Benefit

ru still receiving DLA & at wat rate? Maybe able to claim IS without having to claim IB due to your disability.

Ask to see Disability Employment Advisor when you see your New Deal Advisor

Part of claiming JSA is that your fit & able to move into work if all the things u say r true then this isn't the case
