When I was 17, I legally had a full time job. This was in Michigan and the law probably varies from state to state. Also, I did not need a work permit.

Yes it is at 16: certainly in the UK.

I had a full-time job when I was 15, but the law has changed since then.

You'd be suprised how long a 14 year old can work legally.

Guess that depends on where you live I know that in Canada as long as you have a social insurance number you can work. Most companies won't allow workers to be younger than 14 however paper delivery persons seem to be from aged 12 and up.

but in general you can st art working full time at 15 with parents consent and schooling is finished

no, you can work full time but i believe there are certain guidelines...like you cant work after a certain time and things like that.
