This is a very good question. If you notice how people talk to each other lately, or in the past few decades it is not pleasant. So my answer is this, communication skills is a very vital skill that we lack as humans. It is not that you or the world is not intelligent, it is that we lack the skill of using communication skills in our daily lives. When we speak to someone it should be, and I say should be with respect for them. They are people just like we are and deserve that respect. The key is that we should not get angry if they do not have the answers or do not know, because it is a simple gesture on your part to say thank you and move on, before you get angry with them for not knowing the answer. Therefore if we use communication wisely we can get what we want very effectively. It will not work on everyone, but you will gain more respect for yourself in doing so. This way in the long run you will learn with experience how to deal with people on a different level than you more affectively. Communication is the key word in our lives to be able to get the most problems we face resolved.

Empathy. If we felt the pain we inflict on others, we'd all chill a bit.
