I have asked this question already and I think that I needed to better explain myself.
I work with the public. My boss is very rude to customers and employees alike. She makes working at my job so miserable for everyone. Everybody that has left this job has left on account of her. She treats ppl like they are stupid and like she knows everything. Everyone in the company (including her boses) baby her so that they will not have to argue with her. It's easier just to let it go because she will argue all day on pointless stuff. When she doesn't get her way or someone dissagrees with her she just yells in a confused way. So what my question is, should I go over her head and talk to human resources....or would it be pointless?

I usually work 12 hour days but due to a shortage of shifts the only ones available are nights, which I have had to take. Does anyone have any good advice for preparing for a 12 hour night shift; 8pm - 8.15am? I start Wednesday night, for 2/3 nights. What things can I do to ease my transition when I go back to working days? Thank-you in advance for your answers.

I tried to tell the boss I would like to leave. He interviewed someone else but they never turned up for me to show them what to do. He then asked me to stay on. But I feel it isnt for me.

... is either lying or has never had to scrape by paycheck-to-paycheck on minimum wage. Or forgot what it was like to live on Ramen noodles and drive a 10 year old car. Probably had a mommy and daddy who bought them a car, put them through college, paid for their wedding, and helped them with the down payment on their first house. And obtained their first "real" job with someone else's help.

Who disagrees with this statement? And please, unless you're either stuck in a dead-end job that you can't afford to quit or had to put yourself through college and have a student loan payment that's bigger than your car payment, and have had to literally work for everything you have (i.e. no handouts or loans from mommy and daddy to get you started), I'm not interested in your response!

You always have to think of the best trick to persuade him to give you your money. Also what are the best tactics to persuade him to pay you without him giving you stories.

A bad interview? Or being late for the interview? When I came to interview for this job I wanted it so bad. But when I came to it I got a little lost and was about 10 minutes late. I thought for sure I wasn't going to get the job...The interview went great but the whole time I was worried about the tardiness thing. Surprisingly enough they called me the very same day to offer me the job. Has anyone ever felt they weren't going to get the job because of something that went wrong but ended up getting it?

I am a massage therapist at a spa. The two owners are now fighting like crazy people. I can still work with one, but I have no way to get to work and she is the most likely to lose the spa in court. Or I can look for something else and hope the other boss gets the spa...she gives me rides to work too. Should I look now, for a massage job, or should I find something to fill in until this crap is done? Or should I keep working for the boss I don't care for? HELP!

My boss is really old. Everyone around her Baby's her just to make her think that she is right so that they won't have to argue with her. Would you go to the Human Resources of your company to explain (what they already know) to them?? Or would it not even help??

I received a voicemail from my 14 year old daughter about how much I have hurt her by not coming to live with her and her Dad. She lives with my ex-husband in another state. She mentioned that I should stop calling or Instant Messaging her. She said that I have hurt her enough. I don't know how to respond.

I have a job that I really hate. There is one girl in particular that I work with that wants to get me fired and constantly tries to find fault with the way that I do things. She is rude and argumentative. She also attacks me because I am more educated than her.

I am also being compared to the prior person who had my job who used to work 60 hours per week. I asked when I interviewed for this job if there was work/ life balance and they said there was. There has not been since I started. They said yesterday that there is no comparison between me and the prior person who had the job. I don't know how to respond.

I just started a new job...and before I started I was really excited about it. I quit a job that I really loved. I am working on my own, personal career, and so I choose to work part time. When I began the job, I knew it would conflict with my husband's schedule (we've been married almost 3 years, no kids)...and I told the employer that would work (I was so excited!). Now, I'm not so sure. I'm worried we will not be able to spend time together (only one day a week)...This new job is in my field of study, and the old job (that would take me back) is more of a service job, but I really enjoyed it. I've only been in this new job for a few weeks. It has a six month probationary period. Would I ever be able to quit without completely angering them? It's a place that I would like to be able to return to on a personal level...they are both part time jobs...and I'm worried that if I quit a few months from now, it will be more detrimental than quitting sooner...

What do you do if you want to quit because everythings raining on you. Just want to give in and find an easy path rather than stick it out and continue to make mistakes. even if you're not responsible, because everywhere you go, you find complications in everything around you.
