I am a massage therapist at a spa. The two owners are now fighting like crazy people. I can still work with one, but I have no way to get to work and she is the most likely to lose the spa in court. Or I can look for something else and hope the other boss gets the spa...she gives me rides to work too. Should I look now, for a massage job, or should I find something to fill in until this crap is done? Or should I keep working for the boss I don't care for? HELP!

I would keep working but start looking. It doesnt look like you are in a stable work envoirnment so you need to cover your bases. But its better not to quit now so you can still have an income while you look for a better job. Its better to have fall back so you can find a job you relaly like as opposed to being out of work and having to take whatever is available to make ends meet.

If you don't think working for the other boss is going to be something that makes you happy, you should go looking for another job starting now. It is a possibility that the court proceedings will drag on for a long time, and with court costs and legal fees being what they are, there is a chance that the business will go under anyway, as many small companies do when they are in a litigation battle. You are better off looking for a new job, but don't quit or give notice until you have secured a new job, obviously.

Sounds to me like happy families. (kidding) Personally I would find someone to fill in, till the cayos is over. It sounds like you are only happy working there with the boss you like. I would hate to work in a place where my boss was a complete hate pig. Or stick it out till the end and see who gets what. In the mean while I would start lining up some other alternatives. As a "just incase my mean boss gets the place" Maybe your nicer boss will open a place of her own, try convincing her. Good Luck.

Sure, start looking now, but don't quit until you have something for sure to move into. You never know, it might all hit the fan and stick and you would not have to worry about it after all.

start your own business and then you are in charge and won't have to rely on anyone else to drive you to work. check with your local government to see what the restrictions are on running your business out of your own home or you can advertise and go to others houses or companies but you'll need transportation for that.

Try to keep this job until you find another one. Try to relax in the evening and forget about your work. It will help.

Get another job before you quit the one you have.
