My coworker and I are going around about my equipment. My boss knows about each and every one of our "discussions" because its stressing me out. He works in a different group and they use my group's autoclave, not as much as we do, so if the autoclave goes down then my group is the one most affected by it. He thinks a service call to fix the autoclave, and our down time is worth less $$ then if his stuff gets ruined by letting the thing run overtime for its cycle.
He doesn't understand when its ok to use the reset button w/o breaking the thing, and keeps asking me when he can use the reset. I keep telling him the same thing, but he just says umm. He keeps asking me about it after my boss has left, so I can't tell him to go talk to her about it. I tried to do that once, and he ran, said he didn't need to talk to her. I can't tell if he's trying to trap me into saying something I don't mean or trick me or mess me up so he can tell his boss.

Which would you choose? Being finically stable but being completely miserable at your job? Or stugling finically but being much happier at your job?

I'm NOT talking about employment for which they're not qualified. I mean -- if you knew of a job opening and knew your friend was looking and probably qualified, wouldn't you at least let your friend know that he/she should apply?

Ok. So I work at an office that's only open during the week. 8:00 - 5:30. I have to come in on Saturday to help finish this project. What is normal for working on saturday? should i get normal pay or overtime or what. I want to be sure i don't get ripped off. normally if people work on the weekends, they get cheap and say "Well since you worked this many hours on saturday you can come in late on monday". i want the money. what should i be getting?

They need us to let them know how much we love them. I just want to be able to stay at home with them. Show them what a family can be like. Please if anyone can let me know of a good at home job I would be grateful.

Fist off my boss is a woman, and she owns the resturant that I work at. She hired me about 6 months ago as her pastry chef. For the past 3 months there has been no room for mistakes. She will find anything to pick at me for. I dont want to quit because I really like what Im doing but its so hard when no matter what you do its not good enough. Ive never had a complaint from any costomer and yesterday I work 10 1/2 hours for here so that a catering I was doing would be done in time, now Im not complaining but I went in this morning to box up some stuff for some orders and she came right up to me and stared in on me about how my dessert case wasnt full enough, I mean its as if she thinks that I dont work hard. Am I just over reacting or is this something that I should do something about.
