I would choose #2 - happy at the job and struggling financial. You spend to much time at work to be miserable. Plus if you like what you are doing, the money will come in time. If you hate your job, being paid alot is only a temporary fix.

the happier job. I've been there. I had a very high paying job immediately after getting my master's, but I ended up HATING the job. I dreaded going every day. Finally, my husband told me that I had to quit. We talked about it, and we decided that we would make things work with less money. It was hard at first, but this was 2 years ago, and now I'm about to get my PhD and I'm teaching college English--which is what I really do love.

So I would say it is not worth it to hate your job, no matter what the pay.

Ok You may not be up to it but I have an Idea. Why not get your CDL-A. Trucking companys need drivers. As long as you have not had any accidents or speeding tickets. I will put it this way, if you have the book smarts it simple to get into anyone of these trucking companys and they pay back the tuition. They do background checks but basicly all you do is fill out an application. Most of them dont really care to much about work experience or history. Trust me. As long as you dont drink or use drugs you will be fine. Dont get me wrong they are strict on their policy especaily thier drug and alcohol. When I go into a trucking company now I have allmost no fear at all. I hope this helps.

I would work the miserable job long enough to get some investments established. Then, I could work the job that I'm happier doing and not struggle as hard because of the returns from my investments.

Being financially stable. I rather have the money and steady work than struggling. I'd be miserable for awhile until a job I enjoy that pays well opens up.

The second because no matter how hard you try your dislike of the job will show and if you choose the second you might eventually make more money because you are happier and therefore work better
